Anemochory is a small studio, not a solo shop. Michael leads every project and writes code on every one. When the work calls for more hands, a short list of senior engineers he’s worked with for years joins in. Every change ships with a senior engineer behind it.

We keep the client list short. That way we can stay with a product for years, and the hours you pay for go to your work. When we’re full, we’ll tell you how soon we can start.

Michael Carbaugh

Michael came up through Nashville’s startup scene, shipping several dozen projects across defense, healthcare, fintech, and construction.

He’s sat on both sides of the table, and he’s watched good ideas stall because the engineering didn’t serve the business. He started Anemochory to be the team he wished he could have hired: senior people, hands on the keyboard, honest about what to build first.
